It is important to do your research before you hire anyone to build a pool or spa for you.

  • Check the company’s reputation – in your community, among friends for whom the company has done work, and with references provided by the company (at your request, if necessary).
  • Check the company’s standing – with the Better Business Bureau, the building department of your local government, and the consumer affairs office of the state attorney general’s office.
  • Pay attention to how company employees treat you and your property.
  • Research the history of the company, including how many years it has been in business, how many pools or spas it has built, and whether projects usually are finished on schedule.
  • Learn details about the company’s financial practices, such as whether the company is financially stable, whether it will provide a clear written estimate for the work, and whether more charges will be added during the construction process.

At Idaho Pool & Spa, we provide outstanding customer service from the beginning to the end of every project. We are locally owned and operated and pride ourselves on our reputation. Your satisfaction matters to us.

No. No. Idaho Pool & Spa has the experience and expertise to build long-lasting pools and spas of superior quality. We have decades of knowledge that helps us solve problems before they occur. We use only the highest quality materials and we guarantee our work.

The majority of the work is done by Idaho Pool & Spa, but some work requires separate licensed professionals. Things like electrical and gas must be subcontracted out to these professionals. Our team is still onsite monitoring this process to ensure quality.

While construction costs do not vary drastically from one pool to the next, size and dimension can affect the cost. Factors such as property access, demolition before construction, and local permit costs will vary the cost slightly. The main factors affecting the cost of your design are the materials used, any added features (like waterfalls, decking, and other features) and the size.

Our experts will meet with you to discuss your individual needs and features you would like. We will determine things like how you will use the pool, how shape and size are affected by your unique property requirements, and what features you are looking for. We take this information to build a schematic so you can visualize your new pool or spa.

Typically, in the past, a pool or spa has increased the value of a home, specifically in the western United States.

Idaho Pool & Spa stand behind a lifetime structural warranty. All the equipment used in our services comes with a manufacturer warranty.

Modern technology has simplified this process tremendously. Most all of the tasks associated with pool maintenance can now be automated. Beyond these automated choices, you also have the option to hire out pool maintenance to a professional service or do it yourself.

A cover for your pool can save your dollars and keep in the heat. By conserving heat, reducing the cleaning costs, need for chemicals, and extending equipment, a Cover-Pools® Save-T® automatic pool cover pays for itself. It’s a great return on your investment.

There is also Eco-Friendly equipment available from Pentair Water Pool & Spa that is built to conserve money and resources.

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is! To construct a pool at an abnormally low price, the builder must compromise on materials, equipment, design, and craftsmanship. Idaho Pool & Spa only builds products of the highest quality at an affordable price.

There are a lot of factors that determine the cost of a pool. Size, shape, custom design, materials, craftsmanship, construction time, and warranties all contribute to the cost. Some less reputable companies also have hidden fees implemented after construction has begun.

Idaho Pool & Spa only uses the highest quality materials. Our expertise and experience goes into every step of the process. From expert custom design to building and construction, and finally the finished product. We value our reputation and always strive to provide our clients with top-notch customer service. Our business is built on integrity and we will provide you with the best estimate of your final cost.

The American Shotcrete Association uses the term Shotcrete to describe all sprayed concrete or mortar. This includes both dry-mix and wet-mix processes. Gunite is a type of shotcrete, but this refers only to the dry-mix process.

At Idaho Pool & Spa, we only use the wet-mix process because no other material is stronger or more durable when it comes to the construction of pools and spas. Using this process also allows us to hand sculpt your custom pool or spa.

Fiberglass and vinyl materials do not allow for custom designs. They are only available from manufacturers in limited shapes and sizes. Additionally, neither of these materials are as strong as shotcrete.

Yes. In fact, we have found that this is one of the most popular requests from homeowners. We use the IntelliChlor® Salt Chlorinator from Pentair Water Pool & Spa.

Pool and spa technology is changing just as quickly as technology in other industries. There are many features available to add that extra pizzazz to your custom design. Whether it is fiber optic lighting, remote control, or something else, contact us and we would love to discuss your options with you.
